Putting your Faith into Action means building traction in four key areas of a man's life:

Your Walk with God
Your Commitment to the Word of God
Your Relationship to your Woman
Your Ministry at Work

Just like those off road-go-anywhere vehicles men love so much a godly man must have "traction" in all four major areas of his life. In order to assist the men of Stone Creek in this adventure our Men's Ministry Leadership Team has identified four basic adventures which can be pursued in a team (two or three guys who meet regularly for fellowship and growth) or a group.

Your Walk Is what happens daily in your relationship to god. It involves Prayer, Bible Reading, Confession, Worship and other elements of our devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ. In order to develop the right habits and skills we suggest a Study Tool called Growing Strong in God's Family by the Navigators. This study will help you to understand how to have a daily walk with God and what it means for a Godly man to be confident in overall spiritual foundation. This study will introduce you to scripture memory, different kinds of prayer, and give you a perspective on spirituality that stays balanced.

Your Word "wheel" is the process that you use to get the scriptures into your life on a consistent basis. This means more than just "7 minutes a day". It means having an organized plan to study the scriptures. Not only should a "Godly Man" be familiar with the basic story of the bible and the amazing things that we can learn about God but he should know how to use scripture to encourage and support others. We have discovered a great tool to do this called "Living by the Book" by Howard Hendricks.  it will help you learn to Observe what Scripture has to say, Interpret a passage so that you can explain it to someone else and learn to apply what the Bible says to your own Life. This Three step system can be used with any scripture weather it is a verse, a chapter or a whole book.

Your Woman is an important part of being a Godly Man. According to scripture she is to be received as God's provision for a successful spiritual life. While some men never get passed thinking their wife is supposed to make them "happy", God's plan includes so much more than that. He wants our wives to help us to become "holy" too. In his book "Love and Respect", marriage and family therapist Dr. Emerson Eggrichs, provides practical insight on how to have the kind of marriage that is an illustration of God's love for mankind but also is intended to be one of the most rewarding experiences of a life time. This tool is not your typical "everything your wife wants you to know about why men are from Mars". It is a pracical guide designed to help christian men understand their wives and discover why women need real men who understand how god has designed them to lead in love.

Your Work is often the most neglected area of a man's spiritual life. Did you know that work is not the "curse" that God has given men because they did something wrong? In fact before anything had gone wrong in the Scriptures - the very begining chapters of the Bible we discover that God had planned that men would find significant meaning, purpose and satisfaction in their work. God's stated plan for man was that he would "manage all of creation".  The tool "Inside Work" is designed to provide men with a whole new approach to work, career planing and equip them with the skills to survive the built in tensions that a godly man must learn to keep in balance in order to prosper financially and spiritually in his work environment.
